sleepdancing eve
alone too soon
dumbsweet and dark
in wind in waves
stripp’d to the edge
in fading light
pluck sorrowbirds
from dying stars
old silent man
of chilly blood
and shadow laugh
in wintermoon
forsaken now
we bleed in caves
and sing too loud
your lizardsong
